After an inspiring conversation with a friend yesterday evening, I felt called to share a small part of a recording from my self-study…The reality behind the practice: it’s a process, not perfection.

How do I keep smiling through it all? Honestly, it’s not always easy. It’s not always dancing or laughter. Every day is a practice, learning how to move through life, the noise in the mind, and the moments that pull us out of our body.

In this clip, you’ll see some of the parts I rarely share… as I move through resistance, overwhelm, intrusive thoughts, and navigate the fight/flight response that was activated, I lean into the tools that hold me: orienting and noticing where I am in the room, breathing through disconnection, and gently tapping to remind my nervous system: I’m here. I’m safe. I’m okay.

One of my many favorite ways to ground is the butterfly tapping technique. Hands softly crossed over the chest, fingertips resting on collarbones, gentle pressure paired with mindful breaths… it’s like a soft hug for your nervous system. It helps release tension, bring me back into my body, and create a little space for calm. Simple, soft, and powerful.

FlowFusion is your souls Expression, a quantum healing for the soma, fascia with emotional transformation methods. (QSF-ETM) It is a practice I created using a blend of modalities that have helped me navigate through chronic pain and support self-expression, helping the body bring more blood flow and oxygen where it’s needed most. Through intuitive movement, I discovered that allowing the body to move freely rather than following structured, linear practices, was the most effective way to transform tension and restore vitality. FlowFusion combines intuitive somatic movement, tapping, energy flow (qigong), fascia flow pauses, and breath to help the body transform tension, restore vitality, and reconnect mind, body, and soul. I love to act out and embody specific sensations, like pulling out my pain tension, reaching, shaking, tapping and I love getting into these states of story and movement and feel what it’s like in my body.

It doesn’t have to make sense, in fact, it isn’t supposed to. I invite my clients to explore what their own story feels like through movement.

I love incorporating these intuitive movements because it allows the body to process, transform, and reconnect with its natural rhythm, helping us shift out of our minds and into the wisdom of the body. I guide clients to sense what’s moving in their bodies, what’s present beneath the surface in a way that isn’t linear or logical and to express them through ETT, movement, like storytelling without words.

The purpose of FlowFusion is to help us embody more of our vessel, ease chronic pain, meet and express the edges of what has been suppressed or unseen, and discover new pathways for life force to move through us, freely, fully, and vibrantly alive.

Your nervous system may have learned that closeness isn’t safe. It builds protective patterns. So when someone shows genuine care, your body might tighten, pull away, or ache. You want to let it in… but another part of you still remembers the danger that once lived there.

This is the complexity of trauma: your mind knows it’s safe now, but your body hasn’t caught up yet.

Receiving love after trauma can feel intense—not because the love is harmful, but because it awakens places that haven’t felt safe before. Every gentle touch, kind word, or moment of connection is a reminder: it’s safe to receive.

Give yourself permission to move at your own pace. If you need space, honor it. You’re not rejecting love—you’re helping your body learn a new rhythm: one of warmth, ease, and safety.

For years, I thrived in chaos.

Last-minute deadlines, pressure, and procrastination weren’t obstacles…they were fuel. My nervous system was motivated by fear, and somehow, I always got things done.

But now that the chaos has quieted, that old motivation doesn’t work. I’ve realized I need to reprogram how I move, create, and show up from calm, not panic.

My client was diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) in 2020.
After years of struggling with the symptoms, we began walking a gentle path toward healing together.
We’re still on the journey, but even after just a few sessions, the changes have been remarkable.
She went from not being able to drive for two years to driving again — and she can now be in public spaces without experiencing episodes.

I work with a unique blend of intuition, trauma-informed care, and holistic practices.

Current Season: A Pause

There’s a time for blooming and a time for resting.

Right now, I’m in a season of pause. soulShine is temporarily quiet as I turn inward, tending to my heart, my body, my nervous system, and my healing. Not because I’ve lost my way, but because this next layer of my journey is asking for gentleness, space, and deep listening.

Behind every smile I’ve shared lives a story of hidden pain, silent fears, and a lifelong feeling of not belonging. Chronic pain since I was 13. Fear wired into my system. Fear of wind, water, animals, loud sounds… and people. And yet, beneath all of that, resilience has always lived quietly too.

Slowly, piece by piece, I’ve worked through it, through nervous system work, EFT, embodiment, nature, breath, connection… and the steady, healing presence of others. Mentors, friends, family, and colleagues, who have held space for me, reminded me of my light, and reflected back my strength when I couldn’t always see it myself. Healing isn’t something we do alone. It happens in connection…in safe spaces where we are seen, heard, and gently supported. For that, I am deeply grateful.

This season, this pause is not about endings. It’s an honouring. It’s about becoming. Restoring. Realigning. Remembering why I started this work, not from a place of proving, but from a place of deep, embodied knowing.

So for now, I’m walking gently with myself. soulShine will return with deeper roots, clearer vision, and more authentic light.

Three days in nature filled my bliss pocket to another level. 🤍

My body softened, my soul exhaled, and I felt safe. Even when fear showed up at night (twice, of course), I didn’t let it take me out. I observed it. I reminded myself where I was. I breathed into safety. And the funny thing… the axe we thought went missing …..you know, the one my imagination turned into a murder weapon? 😅 It was under the wood pile the whole time. Classic Bobbi-Joe move. 💖Thank you @bobbijofrank for this simple, grounded, peaceful, and wild and adventurous experience. I love how we can fly and dive deep, be goofy and serious at the same time…..annnnd sometimes we touch the surface hahaha

Now… back to reality.

Those 3 days were magic. I came home with my bliss pocket full and the realization that I can access that state “that frequency “ anytime. Even here, in the chaos of being a mom, a friend, a sister, a daughter, a neighbor, a somatic practitioner and a human.

In the overwhelm of being needed in every direction, tightness and resistance showed up… so I moved with it. With the joy. With the grief of letting go and the courage of letting in. I let my body speak what my mind couldn’t say. And while dancing, I remembered these pockets we carry, the bliss, joy, fear, anger, the grief, they’re not destinations. They’re invitations.
We move in and out of them all the time. And none of them make us more or less worthy of being seen, loved, or included in community.

We rarely speak about the many layers of separation and divorce.
It’s not just the paperwork, the logistics, even the grief, it’s the quiet moments, the symbolic releases, the unexpected waves of emotion years later.

Today, I sold my wedding and engagement rings. They’ve sat tucked away in a drawer for so long, untouched, yet quietly holding memories, stories, and hopes I didn’t even realize were still lingering.

I always thought I might sell them “one day,” but something about that day never seemed to arrive… until now.
And now that it has, I’m surprised by the weight of emotion that surfaced…sadness, grief, a tender ache in my chest and my throat.

The truth is, you don’t walk down the aisle imagining you’ll ever sell your rings.
You don’t get married thinking about divorce.
And even when you’re in a good place, when you’re thriving and moving forward, there can still be moments that crack your heart open in quiet, unexpected ways.

This feels like the last thread, the final symbolic piece I’ve been holding on to.
Letting go of this physical token feels like closing a chapter.
Not with bitterness, but with gratitude for what was, and with acceptance for what is.

Some people are not meant to stay in our lives forever….and that’s okay.
We make commitments with the best of intentions, and sometimes the most loving thing we can do is to let go when the time comes.

So here’s to letting go, to honoring every layer, even the ones we didn’t expect and to continuing forward, with grace, clarity, and an open heart.

Yesterday brought up something unexpected in my nervous system a moment that needed tending to, even after a beautiful, joy-filled day. It reminded me that shadows can rise even in the light, and we can meet them with grace.

This clip is part of a 10-minute process where I let myself feel, release, and move through stories and get out of my head. I didn’t intend to film tears, they came as I hit something deep. Crying used to be something I did in silence. I’m slowly learning the power of being witnessed in vulnerability.

Prayer to God/Creator is still the most powerful anchor in my life especially when I land in freeze and I cannot tap or move. That disconnection, the subtle collapse we don’t always talk about. Prayer reconnects me to safety, to Spirit. However, when trauma is living in the body, and needs to be processed, I lean on somatic tools to help process it, release and move through it.

In this moment, I used EFT (tapping), breathwork, gentle movement, and self-touch. These tools speak the body’s language. They help shift stored tension and emotions, guiding me back to center. This is more than a method, it’s embodied prayer in motion.

This post isn’t about seeking sympathy
Or attention. It’s a reflection of the layered nature of healing, and a reminder that regulation and release are practices, not performances. That there is sacredness in tending to the emotional body. If you’ve felt your own freeze, overwhelm, or disconnection, you’re not alone. And you don’t have to move through it alone, either.

Learning to Trust Myself Again
Today I’m sharing a piece of my journey learning to trust myself after years of inner confusion/chaos. When the mind has been troubled, self-trust can feel distant or unclear. But lately, something has been shifting.

As I deepen my connection with God Source, Spirit. I’m realizing how divinity shows up in many ways. We often hear “No one’s coming to save you,” and while it’s true that we must do the inner work, it’s also true that we are all part of something greater. If we are all of it—oneness—then support can absolutely come through others, through synchronicities, through scripture, or even someone showing up at your door with the exact words you’ve been praying for.

We are healing ourselves.
And in doing so, we ripple healing into the world.

We are saving ourselves.
And we are also being guided, held, and loved.

God is within.
And God is all around.
Because we are one.
Because we are Love

If we are all of it—oneness—then support can absolutely come through others, through synchronicities, through scripture, or even someone showing up at your door with the exact words you’ve been praying for.

We are healing ourselves.
And in doing so, we ripple healing into the world.

And we are also being guided, held, and loved.

God is within.
And God is all around.

I’ve learned countless practices to move through pain, confusion, dissociation, and the mind-fuckery of it all.
The moments where you lose time, forget where you are, and question your safety.
Living in constant survival mode used to be my “normal.” The struggle is real. The remembering is real.
healing doesn’t always look graceful it’s messy, exhausting, and holy all at once.
I’m unlearning, peeling back layers, one breath at a time.
Reclaiming peace, not just as a concept, but as a felt experience.

I’m learning what safety actually feels like, the steadiness of being rooted in myself.
I’m learning to trust my own timing. To receive without guilt.
To say no without apology.
Because for so long, I equated love with self-abandonment, thinking that if I just stayed small, agreeable, and pleasing, I would be safe. But that kind of safety was a cage.

Learning to hold boundaries with love.
Learning it was okay to protect my energy.
Learning that honoring myself doesn’t make me hard to love, it makes love more honest.

Out of all the tools and practices I’ve explored, the strongest one, the one that’s anchored me when nothing else could has been prayer.
A direct line back to Source. To Creator.
To God. To Spirit.

Fascia, the connective tissue that wraps around everything in the body, holds more than just structure, it holds memory, emotion, and protection patterns from stress or trauma.
When we move slowly, we create space for that fascia to release.
Breathwork brings regulation and flow.

As a somatic practitioner, I don’t just teach these practices, I live them. This is my body naturally releasing stored tension after movement. These tremors and shakes are not a sign of weakness, but a powerful indicator of deep nervous system regulation. We all carry built-up stress, and learning to allow these releases is a key part in learning to letting go and cultivating a deeper sense of ease in our bodies.

I encourage my clients to trust their bodies, welcoming these natural responses rather than resisting them. Many of us have been conditioned to suppress what feels unfamiliar, however our bodies hold an innate wisdom. By surrendering to this process, we create space for deep healing, emotional release, and a greater sense of safety within ourselves.
